The location was absolutely perfect, just 5 minutes by foot from the downtown area. We appreciated having a room with a bathtub. - the central heating, LCD TV, and coffee and tea making equipment were very useful amenities.

Had an excellent stay here. We were there for 2 days, everything was good, thoroughly enjoyed its gorgeous location so close to the better restaurants in the area, boulangerie, butchers, mini supermarket, and a single proper shop as in boulangerie.

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the location was picturesque. The hotel had a clean and inviting pool, and the rooms were well-appointed. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of birdsong and the aroma of freshly baked croissants. The hotel's position was perfect for exploring the region, and the service and quality of the meals were excellent. It would have been even better if the pool opened earlier in the morning. our stay at this small village hotel was fantastic and we highly recommend it to others.

Had a great weekend at a hotel in a charming medieval village. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the river. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was enjoyable. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the village, and it was a peaceful and cool spot above the river. The people working at the hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even going out of their way to make a birthday cake for our daughter. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious and we had clean plates all round. The hotel also provided a spacious family room for our teenagers.
The hotel's limited parking was a bit of an inconvenience due to its hillside location. The desserts mainly consisted of sugar and aerosol cream, except for the cheese board which was good.

Le Fénelon is a top-notch hotel in a small village in France. We have travelled extensively throughout France and have spent a lot of time in this region, and Le Fénelon is truly exceptional. the proprietor is a true gentleman who is always available for a chat or to offer assistance. the staff is excellent and the rooms are clean and well-appointed. the restaurant, both indoors and outdoors, is a delightful place to enjoy a meal and unwind. the menu is superb, with three daily changing options. the hotel overlooks the river and even has a small swimming pool, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. We highly recommend Le Fénelon if you're looking for an unforgettable experience!
Didn't dislike anything about the property 😊.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our drive down the scenic Dordogne route. The restaurant, filled with delicious local specialties, has never failed to impress us on our visits. From hearty pâté to flavorful soups, tender Limousin beef to succulent rabbit, every dish is cooked to perfection. And the homemade ice cream is the perfect finale. The fixed price menu at 40 Euro offers great value for money. The hotel itself exudes traditional charm, with windows that open up to breathtaking views of the Dordogne. Set in a historic village, it provides a unique glimpse into the past. Plus, the added bonus of a swimming pool for guests. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant for a memorable experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The position was excellent, right on the river bank. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the pool was the cleanest I have ever seen. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always willing to help and provide useful advice. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to everything in this beautiful old village.
Can't think of anything.
